Daili lets you make a monthly plan, record purchases and check your daily allowance on your Android phone. Manual budgeting works without an internet connection, a bank login or a Daili account.
What works offline?
Set your spending cap and recurring expenses, add everyday purchases, and check your history and spending pace. Your daily allowance uses the records on your phone, including the rollover from earlier days. There is no online account to sign into before you can check the plan.
Because Daili does not connect to your bank, purchases do not automatically appear from a bank feed. You keep the record up to date yourself. That can suit cash purchases and people who prefer to review every expense, but it also means a missed entry will make the displayed allowance incomplete.
When do you need the internet?
Installing or updating Daili through Google Play needs a connection. Receipt scanning and English voice entry are optional: enable a feature in Settings and download its recognition model first. After setup, recognition runs on your phone, including offline. Reinstalling or re-enabling a feature can require another download.
You can keep using manual entry without enabling either model. Optional recognition needs additional device storage, and its speed varies with your phone. Review recognized amounts and details before saving.
Local records and optional backup.
The developer does not receive your budget records, receipt photos or microphone audio. Daili stores your records on the device. Supported app versions also offer an optional Android backup setting; backup depends on your Android backup configuration and is not a Daili account or bank sync service.
